A Roman soldier with surprising faith. Watch all three parts in order.
A Roman soldier asks Jesus to help his servant, who is sick and suffering at home. Jesus says yes right away.
“And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.”Matthew 8:7 · KJV
The soldier says Jesus doesn’t even need to come. Just one word is enough. Jesus is amazed by his faith.
“Speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.”Matthew 8:8 · KJV
Jesus tells the soldier to go home. His servant is healed at that very moment.
“As thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.”Matthew 8:13 · KJV
One touch, and everything changes.
Jesus heals Peter’s mother-in-law with one touch, and she gets right up to serve. That evening He heals many more.
“And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them.”Matthew 8:15 · KJV
